I’m Mathew Jedeikin and I’m a progressive Democrat running for Congress.
Why I’m Running
-
To unite all of California’s members in the House of Representatives.
-
To bring attention to issues that shouldn’t be viewed as partisan. For instance: food and shelter as a basic human right.
-
To focus on improvements in my local community that will have a direct impact on the lives of everyone living in California’s 6th Congressional district.

Meet Mathew
“Hi and thank you for taking this first step to learn more about me! I’m Mathew Jedeikin, Mathew Guiver before marriage, and I want to bring change to politics and reform to Washington. The country needs leaders who will unite now more than ever, and that’s why I’m running for Congress.
I was born and raised in Sacramento, graduated from Sac State, and have deep roots in this incredible city. I believe that honesty is the most important character of a person, and hope to gain the trust and respect of the people of Sacramento.
I have nothing by respect for Representative Doris Matsui and her family. I pledge to run campaign that is fair and uplifting, and have even asked Matsui for her mentorship, should I be elected to serve this city in Congress.”
